My first Experience with PGSTT by Jaime Thorpe

I had never heard of PGSTT until I started dating my now husband, Matt Thorpe. He told me all about this theatre program that caters specifically to teenagers that puts on really fun and wonderful shows. I was very interested in auditioning because I had just graduated high school and wanted to continue to do theatre but wasn't sure where to look. I was a bit intimidated at first, being not only new to the group but also from AACo and not knowing anyone else involved besides Matt's family. Once I auditioned and rehearsals started, I felt that I had been a part of the group from the beginning. The cast really welcomed me into their family and I was really sad when Grease came to a close. It was because of the experience I had my first year with PGSTT, that I came back 3 more years to be a part of the cast, before joining the Board of Directors and stepping behind scenes to lend my hand as assistant director in 2 additional productions.
